Mission Statement

Code of Conduct

The fire district is mission ready to respond to all types of fire including: Vehicle Fires, Structure Fires, Trash Fires and Wildland Fires.  Crews are specialty trained and dispatched all over the United States through contract with the State of Arizona for Wildland Fire suppression.

The Apache Junction Fire District participates in the Valley Wide Automatic Aid Agreement.  This allows for rapid responses to all emergencies regardless of jurisdictional boundaries.

The Apache Junction Fire District provides adaptive and advanced Emergency Medical Service possible to the citizens of the fire district.

The fire district has a highly trained Technical Rescue Team.  This team responds and is trained in the following disciplines.

  • Swift Water Rescue
  • Confined Space Rescue
  • Building Collapse
  • Trench Rescue
  • Helicopter Operations
